N-Fab whatever the hells. It's supposed to have the predator steps, but I guess the PO changed them.

Not really aftermarket wheels but not 3rd Gen wheels either. 17 inch 2nd Gen OR wheels that have been professionally powdercoated black. Wrapped in Toyo AT II's

F5s with stock tires. Plan on a Dobinsons 3” lift once it’s paid off. But until then there are plenty of cheap tires on Craigslist.

I don't dislike them, but I wouldn't buy them either. I'd rather have sliders.

Wheel offset is different widening the stance, setup is 1” taller than stock yielding 1/2” more ground clearance, and better tires than stock. Slight increase in weight. Same tread width n sidewalk height. Truck feels much more “planted” on road despite being taller. So yeah, noticeable difference but multiple factors going on besides just going from 16” wheels to 17”.

you the man thanks for the response...I'm trying to educate myself on tires..Just to make sure the 1'' taller is only from the tires right? no lift on your set up?

No lift, currently stock OR suspension.

1" is the larger diameter tire/wheel combo. 1/2 of that increase (in this case .5") is the amount of height increase for entire truck including ground clearance underneath. Gap between outside edge of tire and wheel well/fender is reduced by .5".

If you want to go from 16" to aftermarket 17", recommend reading up on wheel offset and backspacing. Those 17" 4R wheels are very popular here not only because of the looks but because many feel the offset is ideal for our trucks.

Happy for now with the wider stance, ride on rough roads, and mpgs with this setup. Eventually a slightly longer travel suspension lift might be nice.

you're the man..Thank you for the response..I'm going to read about wheel offset and backspacing like you said...I do like the 17' 4R better than the 16' pro (glossy).
