Give Silent Industries a call (Malcolm) at 256-783-5309. Been working with him for years and best prices/knowledge all around. He does it for a living. Located off Wall Triana/565 in Madison.

I did trust for a while because there was no fingerprint requirement. They changed it now. You can also add family members so they can have them in possession. It also made it easier to pass them along after you croak rather than using a will. Individual transfer to family members is now the same as in a trust so I no longer see any point in using it.

There is still some good. Every firearm related thing I own that can be put in a trust is. So when I croak it's protected. That's my biggest concern.

So you gotta get fingerprinted again buying anything new under the trust?

I would, but we gotta move the rest of our daughter's stuff out of her dorm at JSU. It's moving day. Moving day sucks... I may hit up Little River Canyon Sunday for a pleasant little ride on some bunny trails.

No from what I understand. I do believe that they require all the people listed in the trust to submit fingerprints also.

Have any of you had to deal with a pharmacy for a controlled substance lately?
If you haven’t I have to tell you it’s a nightmare!
Dr upped my nerve numbing medicine dosage this morning x3 after seeing my new MRI. Keep in mind, this is not a narcotic, but controlled none the less.
I dropped the script off at CVS and they say no problem. 5 minutes later I get an automated call that says they won’t fill it until February 16. After 20 minutes on hold, a tech picks up and tells me they just filled the same prescription 15 days ago and I should not be out. I tell her she is correct but if she looked at it she would notice my dosage was increased and I would be out of what they gave me in just a few days at the new rate. Puts me back on hold. 20 minutes later comes back on and tells me I have to wait until I’m completely out. I ask if I should come get my script and she says “Not if you want us to fill it”. I tell her I don’t understand and she cuts me off and says hold please. 20 more minutes later I get the pharmacist and she asks what my question is. I say I don’t understand why I have to wait until I’m completely out to get my new script filled. She says it is CVS’s corporate policy on controlled substances . So I say “Then I would like my prescription back” to which she agrees. I get my script back and now it has a blank sticker over what I expect is their tag to fill it. I ask if I will have issues at another pharmacy because of it and her response was I don’t know. I haven’t taken it anywhere else yet, I was frustrated and in pain so I went home. It just drives me crazy that in order to protect the morons that abuse drugs from themselves I must jump through endless hoops or choose to suffer through the pain. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
