Yes sir and going great. Top shock towers are tacked on and removed the lowers. Just polishing off old welds and will tack them on.

 

Yup @Bigdaddy4760 is showing me how to remove metal, I'am apparently slow. I spend an hour working on cleaning it up and he spends 5 minutes and does twice as much and finishes it. Hes finishing up the welding now, then paint and finish it up.

 

After a great day out at @Bigdaddy4760's shop the rear shock relocate and Archive crossbar is installed and done! Still a few more things to finish up before the suspension rebuild is complete but its getting close. Ext stainless rear brake lines and front stainless brake lines need to get installed and I need to add a bunch of preload to the front shocks. I know the box said they were 700lb springs but the front end is pretty bouncy with it sitting lower than my old OME nitrochargers with 886's. Hopefully some preload to get my front height back with a little more will stiffen them up to what I was expecting with a heavier spring.

Me too! It will be finished well before jambo. Hoping to maybe finish next 2 weeks . Its driveable around town just not on trails until the brake lines are installed. I'll also be replacing all the bushing in the Dakars since we noticed they had more play than desirable when we added the hangers a few weeks back. Already have new OEM hangers with new bushings to let the Hangers flex all the way that will get installed the same time as the new bushings in the dakars once I order them.

 

IS the Off-Road the only trim with the special brake booster?

It made bleeding the brakes a 2 minute job. Changing the lines themselves wouldn't have taken much time at all if they were made correctly!

 

The OR and Pro are the only models with it that I know of. I've read for 3rd gens(not 100% sure if it applies to 2nd gens but I think it does) techstream is needed to properly cycle the ABS if air gets in it. I'll get a copy of techstream once I have a laptop, going to order one very soon. Also I'm almost positive I've had air in the ABS since my rear drum imploded last year... The shop never got my pedal feel 100% back to normal but the truck at least stops fairly well and its gotten a little better over time. I probably should have just gone to toyota and let them rape me on the job or at least had them bleed the brake system. Money was a little tight since that wasn't long after I started working again after getting laid off last January and since then I've just been lazy and cheap. I'll get it right eventually.

 

Don’t forget that @Suprajim54 has a laptop with the software.

 

I know. I've wanted to pick up a laptop for a couple years and a few reasons/uses. A few days ago purchased OVTune and will need my own laptop for flashing the tune whenever I receive it. Could be a while since they cant ship the tune kit until they get restocked on cables.

Dang storms woke me up.

 

That sucks. I sleep through just about everything with the exception of my dog crying. Nothing was waking me up last night. My mom hit me up when I was at work and asked me to meet her and help haul new flooring home. Hand loaded and unloaded a pallets worth of wood floor into the bed/backseat of the truck. 50 or so packs in my truck and another 45 between their small jeep suv's. My truck handled the weight pretty dang well though! Was happy to have that extra aal in the pack that we installed last month!

 

Well, that escalated quickly.

I also want to do the Crossbar for the Hammer Hangers....
