    The harness is, but not the rack. I don't mind running more wires.

    WAY TOO MANY
    Projects always seem to grow and since you already have plans for 2 additional circuits, the safe bet is that you will need a second harness. I look forward to pics of your setup when it’s done. :thumbsup:

    Those lights will all be rear facing :cool: I ordered more DT connectors so I could split the wires to two groups of 4 through the thinFin. Hopefully I'll get to have it finished by the weekend. I'll post pics after it's all done.

    I’m interested as well. I have 26 strands in three bundles, and 3 coax runs. Naturally that was too much for the 1/2” hole so I run conduit around.
    How many amps are you drawing, that can help you figure out how many and what size wire.

    Maybe if I list out the plan...

    Light Links:
    - ExtremeLED X6S 38in: link
    - Baja Designs Rock Lights (x4): link
    - Open Trail 20in Dual Row: link
    - CaliRaised LED Amber Pods (x2): link

    Wiring Harness Wires (18 gauge):
    - Purple: Positive ExtremeLED X6S 38in
    - White: Positive ExtremeLED X6S 38in
    - Orange: Positive Baja Designs Rock Lights (x4)
    - Red: Positive Open Trail 20in
    - Blue: Positive CaliRaised LED Amber Pods (x2)
    - Black: Negative to ExtremeLED X6S 38in and Baja Pods (x4)

    Add-on Wires (18 gauge?):
    - Black: Negative Open Trail 20in Dual Row
    - Black: Negative CaliRaised LED Amber Pods (x2)

    How would I calculate the amps being drawn? Some of the sites list watts or volts, but not many list amps. I currently have 14 and 18 gauge wire sitting around so I could use either if I have still have enough.

    Also here's a preview of the rear bar

    Current draw is calculated like so:
    I = current
    P = power (watts)
    V = voltage

    I = P/V

    So if you are running 100 Watts at 12 Volts, you are pulling 8 Amps.
    I would calculate the current draw of each light, and figure out how much you want to put on each wire. Base it off of this chart below to make sure your wires can handle it.
    You can base it off of the chart below:

    Thanks B for the excellent post.

    Often the housing says 12v/5A or something for voltage and Amps.

    Okay so assuming I did this correctly...

    Screen Shot 2020-01-31 at 12.13.00 PM.jpg

    Am I correct in understanding that fully lighting up the X6S would be a bad idea through the provided harness since the total amps would be 15 through a single negative 18 gauge wire?

    Yes, your understanding is correct. This also applies to both of the positive cables. One of your positive cables would draw 5 Amps, the other would draw 10 Amps. At the least, I would change the wiring to 14 gauge, depending on the length of the wire.

    Length probably totals around 20ft for the X6S. At that rate, might as well redo the entire harness :(. All DT connectors I have are 16-20 gauge. Amazon is going to love me.

    @upTOPOverland_Drew you have any thoughts here?

    If you are running 16 gauge for the white and amber separate, that would work. You could then do two negative cables to compensate for it.

    That could work and then I would end up using the connectors I already have just a 6 pin and a 4pin instead of 2 4 pins.

    BTW thanks a ton for the info. Last night I was taking apart some of the wiring from my old truck and realized I had screwed up the wiring since one of the fuse slots had literally been melting so I'd rather do it right than have something like that happen again especially on a truck I plan on keeping longer.

    Might be good for upTOP to review this too.

    We have shoved up to 12ga in the provided plugs. we have been looking at beefing up the ground and main power for the purpose of bigger light bars. With that said, micah runs the x6s and i run dual 10" S8s and we have done it without issue. the wire has not overheated nor have we expericenced any power drops

    Lowes sells wire comparatively by the foot and it does not require another UPS truck run and packaging for landfills.

    Fair point. I more meant for the connectors. I have to go to Lowes or Home Depot anyways. Amazon is super wasteful sometimes.

    Glad you got the plan and for Brandon’s lead. I love wiring and these racks beg to be dressed up. It’s worth it to take a few days and get it right. Test test test. :thumbsup:

    What can I say... I like my lights. There's already 4 pods up front and a 30in waiting to be remounted. I also have a now useless 50in curved and another 20in sitting around that I'll probably sell off.
