    I'm making this thread because I cannot find any relevant information on the subject.

    Im sure everyone with the factory radio has tried to make a phone call through the truck and got the message "unable to dial, please check phone" while the phone call happens on your phone just not through the truck.

    Well recently mine has given me that message 100% of the time it seems. I've tried resetting the radio completely and to no avail it still gives me the error.

    Anyone have a fix for this besides warranty at dealer?

    I've never had that happen. Go get a new unit from the dealer.

    I'm going to hook up my gfs phone and see if it can make calls that way we can know if it's my phone or the truck. My phone did just get an update so it's a suspect. It's a Google pixel 2

    Make both your phone and the head unit forget each other. Then pair the two again.

    I second unpairing and pairing, then try again. If that doesn’t help, I’d probably take it to the dealer

    This happened to me yesterday, the call went through about 10 seconds later. No intervention from me.

    Already tried deleting truck from phone and phone from truck

    I have had a delayed thing like that happen as well as a delayed hangup or no hangup input from the screen as well causing me to have to use my phone

    My 2019 shows that message occasionally, usually if i try to make a call as soon as I get into the cab. Then the number dials like normal.

    I thought it may have been the most recent update. But I reset my Bluetooth settings and restarted my phone and it started working again strangely
