Did this email include the registration code to register it to your computer? If it did I think you are SOL as Mat has no way of determining if you installed the tune or not.

Yep,might as well install the tune because nobody is going to buy your kit for anything near full price.

but if you said you were kind of avoiding it because you didn't want to go down the OV rabbit hole, then would you recommend to install it? i would not. the rabbit hole is deep for those that don't wanna.

It’s $699. And currently 15% off, which makes it about $595. Includes hardware and license. Flash kit or tablet.

if you buy used hardware, you have to buy a license which is $325.

Looks like it’s registered to your computer. Why not go ahead and use it? You’ll see after awhile that it was worth the money.

Or maybe you could ask Mat to unregister your computer. As long as you haven’t installed the registry file yet it should be doable.

@BigBeej. Sorry about your predicament but why not make the best of it and install the tune? IIRC file sharing is still allowed until 2.0 drops so you should be able to try out all the variants until 2.0 drops.

    I wouldn't call $300 "ish".

Maybe his GF registered it for him, but if he was on the fence he should have waited. It's no mystery how software licensing usually works.

Since it is registered he might as well flash the tune and try it out though, no?

Any thoughts on releasing 2020 MT 2.0 beta? Waiting for a 2020 MT tune and will purchase after that is available. Thanks.

@Shellshock @OVTune - is there any reason the tablet wouldn't work on an '18? Site says 16 and 17. I remember asking before but the answer I got was "techstream bruh" (not a bad answer, to be fair)

Lol. You have a good point, although I would rather see that a tune is available first.
