    I have 2017 tacoma as well as a 17 4runner
The tacoma will shake you out of the truck while braking going down hill, gets a bit dangerous if there is any sharp corners. I have read complaints about them. What did you buy to upgrade.

I just ordered a kit from Stoptech for $165 shipped (drilled/slotted rotors and carbon/ceramic pads) on Amazon. My truck started shaking at 31k miles, and I have been dealing with it for 4k miles. Cant wait to get this behind me.

I had to on the 2015 I drive. The previous owner managed to hose the front rotors pretty good, and that was at only 20k miles.

Because I changed out the front shocks for some toytec boss, I had them replace rotors and pads. I’ve put 8k miles on them since. Smooth as glass.
