having worked at CVS as a pharmacy technician, I can understand your troubles. that is in fact CVS policy, and even if it sucks for you, it's really the doctors fault for not understanding how pharmacies work and that they probably needed to call ahead and talk to the pharmacist for you. CVS also under-staffs and overworks BAD. I'm not trying to defend them, or say your doctor is bad or anything of that matter, just that I've been on the other side of it. it is not always the pharmacies fault.....with that said....CVS is one of the worst....I'd avoid them if you can.

So I had to do that when I created mine. But when I bought stuff after that point I did not have to go through the fingerprinting process since. And my wait time was about 1/2 what others were waiting. Since all of the trust stuff was registered. I also carry a C&R FFL.

CLOUDY, COOL DAY: We will mention scattered light rain in the forecast today, but like the system this past Wednesday many Alabama communities won’t have enough rain to measure due to limited moisture. Otherwise, today will be mostly cloudy and cool with a high between 50 and 55 degrees.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: An upper trough will swing through the state tomorrow; the day begins with a cloudy sky and a risk of isolated showers. Then, partial clearing begins by afternoon as drier air works in from the west. The high tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 50s. Then, Sunday promises to be a delightful day with ample sunshine and a high in the low 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Look for a spring preview Monday… the sky will be partly to mostly sunny with a high between 65 and 70 degrees. Clouds increase Monday night, and we will bring in a chance of showers Tuesday as moisture levels rise. The weather stays mild with a high in the upper 60s.

SPC has defined a severe weather risk for much of Alabama Wednesday and Wednesday night in their “Day 6” outlook…

If you look on the prescription it will most likely say on it must last 30 days. No pharmacy will fill it early. If they upped the daily amount you can divide what you have left by the new daily amount and what ever that number is you will have to wait that many days. If you want another pharmacy to fill it just tell the pharmacy you want to use who has the prescription and they can call and have it transferred to them. All this is to help stop abuse. If you have more than one controlled prescription they can make you buy Narcan in case of an accidental offer dose

I went to another pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was going on and got it filled. The crazy thing is that it’s non narcotic so it doesn’t give you a buzz, it just numbs the nerves. It got added to the controlled list January 1st this year; no clue why.
