Yeah fucking hate driving through there; easy to fall asleep if you're on a long drive since it's so boring.

Got pulled over by a state trooper some years back and fortunately was let go with a warning (even though I was a good 25mph over).

that should help the resale value of those

the one chart i look at on occasion shows the 4Runner from that era plummeted $20k from MSRP
and that is for the top end best condition ones

i stayed off the interstate the whole way through darn near
very little traffic and more scenery than the freeway has but still not much to look at other than farming stuffs

probably saved 100 miles of travel too

AND got to wave at everyone coming other direction

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don't think folks know the unicorn this truly is. Fully FACTORY optioned, but zero of the BS port or dealer installed 'upgrades'!! No crappy roof rack, no crappy rear wing thing..... But has all of the real upgrades! The locker, the moonroof, etc. Wooooooooowwwww and that mileage!!! Every important option and none of the fake US options, and 3 year old vehicle total mileage.... Dude, I've never seen one like this. This truly is one of a kind. Damn.

you need to hop up a couple states north if you are going to Wyoming or Utah or Mt Rushmore

Late to the party, I was buying rotors, pads and plugs for my daughter's '13 Tacoma.

Did a quick search and I found that I actually can get a tuner for the 4Runner. Might have to do that at some point.

Would be very very cool, I think I've ever only seen one before. That's it. And it was for sale here too. Or was that the longer wheel base one? Shoot maybe I never have seen one of those???

Meh, if it had a 5 speed, then I'd be interested. Clean 4runner tho, that's for sure.

That thing is prolly the least US spec'ed 4Runner in existence. It had to have been special order to get it like that right? I'm still in shock at this thing. Reminds me of the no leather, no roof rack, no wing and no moon roof but yes locked front/rear 95-97 80 series. Only a couple of em like that made it over here

I was more speaking on the rarity of it.
But yeah I'm sure there will be lots of opinions about it

Minus the 4x4, I see a lot trimmed out like that in junkyards. It seems around 99 was when the 4Runners really turned into Mom cars with all the options they came with.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's got some specs though, auto, v6, sunroof, power doors, alloys, locker, electric case....
