I guess I could word it better, everything that's part of the actual production line, so it's all done there at the plant in Japan, all those options are there. Any of the US like options like luggage rack on the roof and the rear dust wing thing, those are done at the Port on arrival from slow boat or at the dealership that sells it. I don't even know if that makes sense or is clear. I'm not explaining this well I don't think:D lol but not for lack of trying!

Did that one have the j-shift?
Now that I'm realizing there were a lot more little options even within same year, like a manual shifter as to an actuator shifter. So I was talking out my ass on how rare that one could be because I wouldn't know with those other differences in the shifter and stuff.:anonymous:
I'm still stuck in simple LC worlds

[IMG] Well it’s in and works.
But the 6v put from the headunit isn’t enough. Need a 12v ignition power for the camera. Just going to splice off the antenna adapter for the ignition source

Yup had to zoom in to see it.

Toyota was so dang confusing back then about trim levels and options. My truck for example is a base SR5. Yet it has manual locks/windows, J shift, AC and a tachometer. Ive seen base models with power everything and a pushbutton 4x4, and some with manual everything and no AC/tach. Seems mine fell in the middle.

I doubt Id even use it. Just keep it on my dresser and cherish it haha. Cause Id need an OEM 5 speed knob in black too. And a black leather shifter boot, which is a thing on ebay though.

Nah thats too easy. I enjoy the thrill of finding a rare part in a junkyard. Kinda like the 4Runner clear tinted Climate control bezel that would go nicely in my Taco if I change bulb color someday.

You just need a few pit bulls or dobermans/rottys. But not the nice ones that you get as puppies. The mean ones at the pound are what you need.
