I know it's all subjective as far as looks go anyway. Some people don't like the way my SOS looks but it's appealing to me.

I looked into ARB safari but I was dissuaded when I found out you must use their fog light . I kinda wanna go with more flexibility.

It’s the only one I know of that has been tested to work with the OE airbag sensors. I’m not really going for looks with it, more for the legitimate protection of both the passenger compartment of the truck and passengers. They are also designed in a manner to deflect any animal away from the cab.

I see the Death valley in your SIg. I have run arond out there some on Ft Irwin. When I was stationed in Co we went out there 2-3 times a year. Pretty cool terrain it was so diferent than what I was used to here in Va.

You have a valid point. From my understanding they do more testing than any other manufacturer.

Nope the ARB ceased to look good after the 2nd gen. It's a great way to give the front of your truck a Bubba Gump face.

I do t really care too much about the looks. Functionality and protection it offers is more important to me. I ran one on my old 2010 4Runner and it stuck out a good bit but it was stout

Death Valley is pretty cool. It is becoming more crowded, though. I understand that the Instagram crowd has taken a liking to it.

Ah, sorry I am too old for all the IG stuff. This is about as social media as I get. I guess it is nice to see more folks getting out in the outdoors and enjoying nature as long as they respect it. As in most things, 1 bad apple can ruin the whole basket however

Based off how fragile our stock bumpers are , the “hit and run” culprit was probably a 4 yo on a tike.

Looks , weight , function ....CBI aluminum it is .

Would these mess with the sensors? Since that steel piece is in front of the grill?

Neither of these guys have said therre were any issues. That's one of the reasons I tagged them so they could answer any questions you may have. @ovrlndkull @SOS CONCEPTS can answer that question as well. I have a second gen so no experience with the sensors

@Cav_BluTRD may be able to answer this as well

You have the Radar cruise control it looks like in the picture. I am not sure if these will be compatible with that. As it may pick up on the very front of the bumper. From a quick search on the interwebs the ARB will do the same thing and it sits in about the same location.

We do offer a streamline that replaces just the center section that will not interfere with the sensors even with our small hoop.
