Since rebate time :fingerscrossed:is just around the corner. Are there any good sales or discounts going on sale to help us use those Fed/State checks?

I figured a thread might be easier for us to :spending:

    So far:
    -SOS Concepts
    -Mountain Hatch
    -OVtune
-Jam Handle had discounts on IG
-Rago fab 20% off some select items.
-Neo garage has 20% off Dd ss3!
-Mobtown off-road doing 15% off on bumpers, skids, sliders, etc. code is taxman2020
    -Victory 4x4 10% of TAXSALE
    -RCI Off-Road 15% TAXTIME

*Clazzio’s has their ongoing $100 TACOMAWORLD discount

I think he means that to afford this truck you should be making enough to be in a bracket in which you dont really get a tax return. Obviously not taking into account all the used tacos or all of the other possibilities.

It would be argued that if you do your taxes right you're not really getting a tax return anyways.

Correct. And i guess i just assume most everyone in here paid $30k plus for their rigs so i also assume everyone is making a good salary and isnt getting a big ass return. Too many assumptions lol.

I never get money back now. When my wife and i made shit wages we did.

    Their withholding is too high.

They bought an EV and got a $7,500 tax rebate.

    Really good accountant.

    Really bad accountant.

Not to get too far off track, but I prefer to owe a little money when I file my taxes. If you are getting a refund check, you let the government use you money for a year without paying you any interest.

On the other side of the coin, if you give a good friend a couple thousand dollars to hold on for you and you forget about it. Then, a year later your friend says here is your money back, that could be a nice surprise to buy Tacoma stuff.

It could, ;) if people quit thread-jacking about their tax situation and just share discounts and/or sales. Viva Forum Life

You also didnt account for those of us that would rather wait a month and buy a product for 20% off. If you cant afford to dish out $700 for some sliders then you probably shouldnt get them, but if you can, its pretty nice to save $150 on em by waiting a month.

I suggest folding your money in half, put it back in your pocket and double it. I also suggest adjusting your tax withholding, go see Rachel in HR you can talk about your RTT and love of craft beer she'll talk about her dog Jack a Corgi and love of red wine. If you start now maybe a summer romance can bloom and you'll be driving a Ridgeline by Oct 2020.
