Sounds like a nice day. Glad you’re feeling better. Being too heavy sucks.

Is there anywhere that sells knee sleeves and stuff in person? Or do I just buy the $80 ones from SBD and hope they fit?

SBD and Cerberus have pretty accurate sizing charts on their site.

What are the sleeves for? Squats only or strongman too?

Whatever brand, just get a size down from what they recommend. You want them tight. They won’t not fit, even if you got the smallest size possible. I’d stay away from SBD. Mine tore. STRONG (Mark Bell), Stronghouse Project, or A7 would be my recommendation

This unless you get competition fit on Cerberus.... Those will be pretty damn tight.

Competition fit 9mm Cerberus knee sleeves are the absolute best for strongman. I use them on squats, frame carry, farmers carry, yoke, anything that requires lift and move.

In training I use rehband for squats but I'll use my Cerberus on really heavy squats.

Gotcha. Thanks y’all. I tried on some Large ones yesterday and they fit but weren’t tight so I’ll be getting mediums. Starting to worry about my joints and shit with the heavy weight and movements.

If your form is right your joints will be fine :p

Sleeves for warmth, glucosamine, fish oil, you'll be good to go.

The lady the gym recommended was $200 for 6. This guy seems to be WAY more educated and responsive. I don’t wanna go into this competition blind so I’m doing what I can to say I tried my best lol. Plus I’m gonna have a workout plan for the first time in my life

Is it? I feel like it's cheap. Martins wanted almost $500 a month for the same stuff this coach does. $150 is a bargain to me.

Plus, one month will help me get a idea of how to train. I can always just take this experience and learn from it and do my own thing for a couple months after.
