Yea that's my complaint, marlin sucks complete ass along with TG. Competition is good and only haveing a few people in the market is really going to suck.

The phrase "shouldve bought a jeep" really works well here. Those guys have it so easy with dozens upon dozens of parts dealers.

Been there got the t shirt. I just hate working on those piles of crap. Torx bolts everywhere and 3 different size fasteners on the same part.

    You are right though.

I'll probably just slap some one tons under this thing if the toyota parts market gets stupid and build a tube frame for my current body and swap everything over.

Went to Headstrong right now and bought the same Fox fronts I was going to get from Accutune. Waiting for the the "Whoops, sorry, we don't have those in stock" email. fingers crossed.

UPDATE: Today, Tuesday, got this response from Marie at Headstrong Offroad:

    "Good afternoon,

Your order was received, thank you for that. Unfortunately we are currently out of these parts and Fox doesn’t have a projected ETA on them at this time. I was told that they could start production sometime in May however they have more pressing lines to cover and the Fox Rep said that due to the age of the trucks these fit they are not considered a hot item. I am so sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you and I have refunded your order."

So, once again a retailer charges money 1st and then goes to see if they have the product in stock. Exceedingly lame. And, apparently, Fox thinks our trucks are old enough to not give several fucks about." Guess I'll look at Icon or ADS now

damned Kansas anyways, the only 1st gen I saw in 300 miles on I-70 was sitting with a for sale sign on a gas lot where I filled up in Salina
had to stop and check it out, it was a 99 sorta black with major peeling paint
they were asking $6500 and were in no hurry to sell this reliable truck

I bought my Kings from Headstrong a couple years ago and got the 'sorry not in stock' right after lol. I just ended up waiting though and they eventually got to me, shipped from DSM oddly enough

Wow, $1,000,000 for a Tacoma? That’s very generous of you.
