Got my sign led change out finished this am. Wasn't very pleasant in bucket truck but it's done. Fog covered the mountain. I grew up in this area and all used to be fruit orchards. Rode dirt bikes, hunted, swam in the ponds, just was an awesome place to grow up. I paused for several minutes up in the air just reminiscing. Just an old softie I guess....

I have 1 in the Tacoma and 1 in the Rav4.
I've had them since 11/18
Only had to use it on the riding lawn mower.
Easy to use and if you hook it up backwards it won't work and fry out anything out.

Morning all! I was going to sit on my ass all day and veg, but I just remembered I have ~5 in inches of snow to remove from everywhere. I guess it's time to fire the MF up and push some snow around. I just have to decide whether to change out of jammies or not.

Oh, and no recommendation on a jump box. Only ever used one once.. or twice?

 

The kids car (2014 xterra) will drain the battery to where it won’t start in about 2 weeks of sitting. There’s something with a slow drain. Tried to find it but gave up - I hate automotive electrical work more than squeezing my hand between the fan and radiator. @Tacoma Mike - you understand that reference. Radiators are like serrated knives just waiting for flesh... I have to make an appointment to drop it off at the auto electrical shop. This pig has 3 fuse blocks!

 

I also have the GB40 for the car/truck and a GB20 for motorcycles. The smaller clamps work better if your battery terminals are in an awkward position.

 

Morning all. Out in Vancouver BC today down on the waterfront. Wife in seminars here today. Going to try different coffees and such. Possibly take a float plane tour .

 

In that case, he needs to plug into a battery tender while it sits. I have optima batteries on a dual system and leave the back one plugged in and the system keeps both charged. I use an optima charger.
If you only have one battery, any smart charger will work.

My '90 pickup would run the battery down the same (as does my outback in 4 weeks.) Thankfully my tacoma doesn't!!

 

mini pocket starters are a dime a dozen. Just get the highest capacity u can get. We have an off brand one for the race cars and that works fine.
