Time for a 2007 throwback kit. This bugger came with loads of missing parts. However, I went through my spares and was able to complete it.

Finally got a chance to work on the DB5 some more.




This is by far the longest I have taken to complete a kit. I am really enjoying this build though.

 

Took a departure from Lego for the night and did 3 Petit Block kits.

New 1:8 scale model to be released by June 1st.

 

That moment when the ISS Kit was released for less than a minute and you already had it in your cart and paid for. I foresee a fun weekend ahead and possibly some explaining to do LOL.

Well I got the DB5 done tonight. Kinda sad that I finished but at the same time love how it turned out.














I really like how they incorporated every visual gadget from the movies. Now just to figure out the next creator set I want to do. Although the Girlfriend said I can't buy any until after my birthday in May. She really wanted to but this one for me. I can say this is my number 1 build to date with star wars Poe X-wing to fallow.

 

I just built a small one today. I've always liked playing Minecraft, so for under $10 I couldn't pass it up.

I just found this thread and it kinda saddens me because I sold off my collection last year. Played with LEGO as a kid, mum gave it all away when I was a teen (had so many now rare Star Wars sets), and I got back into it in my mid 20’s for a couple years until financial reasons / moving required me to sell it all off.

I got into mountain biking probably a decade ago now and I was pushing a bit to hard for a few years and was almost always spending my days at home nursing broken bones, figured out I could sit at a table and build a LEGO kit with a broken collar bone so I got back into it to occupy my time / it’s a great way to unwind.

I think POE’s x wing was the first big set I bought, I had the other new x wing too damn near the same build. I had just about every single Jedi star fighter too, did some eBay hunting to find the older ones nib. I actually made money off of the star fighters when I sold them, even after I opened them and built them they’re still pretty sought after.

 

This guy went as far as making waves with blue bricks

 

I might go visit this today. When does it close?

 

4. Come by the miniature trains downstairs. I’m operating them all day.

 

It’s a madhouse. They call this the mosh-pit (kiddie pools full of random legos)

My son just got done building the Technic/Claas Mini Xerion build.
So we started looking at some of the Claas tractors and then got to this

So a work friend brought this back for me from Alaska yesterday. I couldn’t find a brand on the box, it took me my entire shift to put it together as 95% of the pieces are white, extremely tiny and the instructions were horribleOh well, can't complain about free legos
