I should add that my local dealer didn't even have my truck in stock. They had to go get it on a dealer trade. It was at another dealer 4 hrs away (one way) and they still sold it to me for the lowest price around.

My point is, don't give up because the right deal is out there somewhere. It takes a while to find it.

Yup it really doesn't always help. When I went to order my 16 M/T I was paying in cash too and 3 dealerships turned me down completly and asked me to leave, it blew my damn mind. Love that you have full support for us manual trans junkies. Keep up the good work and thank you!

I've been talking to to these guys
Nobody buy this one I'm trying to get it.

I only buy vehicles that come with every option, because I can't have anything missing.
It's much easier to tune something out you have, than tune someone in that you don't have.

Didn't think a PRO was any different than an OR except the suspension and cosmetic things.

Maybe they will cut you a good deal on that 19 PRO. Good luck

Well fellas, I might just wait a bit longer to hear what you guys have to say about 2 0... The HH that I have seems to be a no go as of yet. Starting to think I might just keep the stock tune. Maybe it's just the cold weather response but the more I drive it the more I like it, even with no ADM. Getting close to 8k, perhaps the machine is still breaking in

I'm sure this was answered before, but this thread is almost 800 pages long, so my apologies. Can you use this tune on a stock 2020 off-road without any additional modifications?

Any long term negative side effects on the trucks reliability?

I see on the 2.0 Beta Page about files for the following - 04B13 2016-17 Manual Transmission with latest TSB. I am just SOL having 04B12 until 2.0 comes out?

If you have the Flash Kit with the OVT / Tactrix adapter, all you need is TechStream and you can update yourself to 04B13 in about 10min.

    Canada Eh!
While waiting for my 6MT Pro to be delivered (feb9-11), I went out and took a Sport DCSB 6MT for a drive yesterday to get a better feel for the truck.

I’ve definitely recognized a lot of the quirks mentioned, mind you the truck only had 4kms on it at the start of the drive. The engine definitely loves the upper rpm range compared to the 4.0l. During normal driving I found the rev hang to be a virtually nonexistent problem.

I would definitely still enjoy driving this truck in stock form if OV wasn’t around, but the tune will certainly be icing on the cake, aspecially when combined with a Core short shifter and ADM.

I tried plugging in my OV cable to pull the ECU ID, but unfortunately I hadn’t added the registration file to the registry yet.

We are still waiting for a 2020 MT tune, but yes it can be used on a stock truck.

No one has reported any long term ill effects to my knowledge... Others who have been here longer than me can chime in about that.

I didn't know the 2020 MT wasn't out yet. See that 2.0 is coming out sometime. If you already have the tune, is the upgrade included or would that be additional?

40k on OV no issues, 20k on a Pedal Commander before that.

the engine just runs better on the tunes, some tunes better than others.

btw just noticed I've been on the same 93oct catless dump tube 2.0 beta file since July. nothing has looked good enough to temp me away from this tune file. yet. :cookiemonster:

Need to buy a new laptop for the household. Any recommendations for a budget friendly option that will last a good while?

I don't trust my old computer to flash with when the time comes. It will only stay on with it plugged in and the charging port has a bad short.
