    Is there a way to compare toyota parts numbers to comparable denso ones?

    Nope, I'd buy it myself :cool:
    I'd easily recommend a 3rd gen to my boys. But I'll definitely tell them to stay away from our 3rd gen section here in TW:rofl:

    You could use the search on densoautoparts.com That will let you see the parts that are available for your vehicle.

    For instance, the condenser is 250 plus for my 2wd truck on a toyota dealer, whereas the denso equivalent is like 80 bucks. I'm wondering if there is more. Replacing my AC system on my 2rz truck.

    Last night I plugged in my Scanguage. It turns out the fuel trim and settings transmission cooling settings I use on the Tacoma work. So I'm driving along and notice the transmission temp runs cooler than the Tacoma. Not that the Tacoma's temp is too high. There is a BIG transmission fluid cooler on the radiator. It makes me want to put an external cooler on the taco.

    Thank you! I'll be lucky if I finish this one by Thanksgiving. Ha!

    I do admit I sometimes miss my tail gate.

    Didn't you sell yours?

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Just for you, I'll make a narrow .jpeg of our trucks if it'll help from feeling left out :luvya:

    My tailgate had some dents, but I have all the hardware for it including the latches. I wouldn't have reused it anyway.

    Only thing I kind of want is the tiny bit of theft deterrence that a tailgate and camper shell would provide for when I carry certain things. Or even just carrying something that'll be covered in general while I'm driving anywhere.

    I wouldn't hesitate to use a Denso equivalent for the condenser. I dont know of a way to compare them but typically Denso is a quality brand. They make many of the parts for Toyota that go into the Tacoma (and many other models)
