I've had two Cfx 50s now and the compressor kicking in is incredibly loud and jarring in the small space of an FWC where you work and sleep right next to it. Otherwise an excellent product.

Will an eagle fit my 3rd gen just fine? Can i still use the same 3rd gen bed bar kit? We found a really nice completely redone eagle for a great deal. Something we could pay for vs having to finance some of the shell model we were looking at. And feel more comfortable going that route if it would work.

What does everything think an 09 eagle is worth? Has stove , sink , water , propane , roll over couch, side awning. Camper is in mint condition. Comes with the bed bar install kit.

Used market is hot and low supply, I'd say 1/2-2/3 cost of a new comparable specced fleet?

Think we are pulling the trigger on it. 4 hour drive away and seems to be a fair price. Only thing we dont like is it doesnt have heat. However does have the propane setup. So im thinking a forced air furnace should be easy to install.

There's a lot of really good furnaces on the market now, just find some space and cut some holes.

Excited for you, show us some eagle porn ASAP.

We have plans to go to glacier for 2 weeks in August. We went to yellowstone last year and absolutely loved it. One major reason for the fwc purchase. After glacier we plan to set a date to go to quebec!

So who has the best deal on a firestone airbag kit? And will it work with a 2.5 inch lift? Wanting to add the airbags for now to help with the load of the fwc then add a lift later. Also do i have to have a compressor mounted in the truck? Or can i use a portable compressor? Eventually plan to mount one in engine bay but purchasing the fwc has put in a dent in the bank acc so going to have to do the rest a little at a time.

You could use a bike pump for the airbags. You don’t ‘need’ a compressor to maintain PSI. An inexpensive option would be a box store 9v compressor.

Nice score on that Eagle, narrow FWCs are really hard to find these days. If I can find an Eagle or Finch when Im in the market again this summer Ill be quite happy.

Just ordered the firestone 4707 airbag kit. Should be here Thursday and ill put it on before the weekend. May add the cradles later and ill beef up the suspension at some point. Looking forward to leaving it on full time. I took it off this evening as i didn't want to be trying to add suspension components with the extra weight of the camper.
