To have the world record holder in the 100 miler train me... man I think thats dirt cheap.

Obviously not $450/mo forever but just short term. His nutrition program is more (hes a keto runner).

A physical with a plethora of labs (everything from vitamin levels, cholesterol, hormone panel, kidney function, liver function, enzymes etc plus a second follow up was $450 for me without insurance.

    My honest guess is $150-200.

You can call a local docs office and ask. My doctor tells me upfront what a physical with specific labs are ahead if time then offers a 50% discount to pay upfront.

Not sure why you aren’t covered under your wifes plan. Tricare Prime dependent plans are $35/mo

She says it’s cause I haven’t gone in and got a military ID and whatnot with her. I’m used to paying out of pocket and not having insurance anyway so it wasn’t anything I was ever worried about lol. My new company offers it finally though too so I’ll be good now lol

Also. You realize that even Thor uses “online coaching” ? If the worlds strongest men using online coaches doesn’t show it can work... idk what will

I promise you Thor isn’t just using “an online coach” and if he is, it’s not the same as what we are talking about here. Anyone can be an online coach, hell I do it. All I’m saying is $150/mo ain’t it. But that’s powerlifting. Maybe strongman is worth it, I don’t know. Go out there and get a gold medal, or a large pizza or whatever they win. Prove me wrong.

I feel like 150 isn't money most of us want to throw away, so paying for something one feels like they could do for themselves is 150 you can't spend on other things.

But yeah, in the end, 150-450 for quality training in something that's important to you is money well spent, IMO. In my mind also, I'd get off it later and implement what I learned myself.

Everyone is free to spend their money how they chose. I don’t have internet, cable, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Because I’d rather spend my money in areas I feel are more productive in my interests.

I could create my own program with my current knowledge and experience and do just fine, but I’m interested in getting more out of myself. A coach (a good one) can offer that support and guidance.

    Different strokes for different folks.

Some people train as a hobby, other people want more out of it.

Yeah, I think it's worth checking and knowing. The point there, it sounds like, is know that you'll pay again for a doc or clinic if it is low and you want TRT.

But IMO worth knowing. Some docs will see you at 300 or whatever and say you're good cuz you're within the range. But you're not 70yo so...

Those bloods tests online are legit and you can easily bring them to your d. It's no different if they ordered it. I showed my bloodwork to my dermatologist so I didn't have to pay for his every time since I did my own.

Maybe it's different with some Dr. - who knows. Personal preference? Anyway, I'd never do TRT. Enjoy the married to a needle - and this is coming from someone married from the needle. Should of just toughed it out - now I do tough it out with stabs. Shit ain't worth it at our age.

You wouldn't do TRT? Or you wouldn't do Dr. prescribed TRT?

I thought you were on TRT

If I could have the choice, I'd never bother with it. I am on TRT because I am dumb. As I said, should of toughed it out.

So yes, I am on TRT, and no I'd not do self trt or dr trt if I had the choice.

Yeah but how long would you tough it out for? Or would you just never have gotten tested?

I'm curious as to why cause my levels off cycle are super fuckin low and it effects me a lot. I was worried about doing it but after pinning twice a week for 12 weeks I think I would be fine with doing it once a week.

Then again my main fear is starting it and never being able to stop... Idk how my situation or views on it would change 10 or even 30 years from now.

Didn’t mean to and didn’t notice it until I marked over my face :anonymous: oh well.

Spent 3 minutes on an arc trainer after my bike ride, really worked my quads and upper legs in general, not a fan of the burn it brings.
I find it odd that the elliptical and the arc trainer are so difficult for me.
