Walked into my dealership today, and asked who I could talk to about having my leaf spring TSB done. I have bottomed out several times hauling firewood. I also needed to do my 10k service, inspection sticker and recall gas pedal deal as well.

The girl asked asked if they were squeaking as well, I said yes, and had bottomed out on a few occasions. I asked if anyone had to look at it to approve it, she said not now, and the parts are in stock.

We shall see, i repeated over and over that i wanted to do this all in one visit, so I am hoping that they can do it all. My appointment is next Saturday.

Do they do shock absorbers as well? I saw that some guys got new shocks at all 4 corners? Is that the same TSB?

You might get new shocks, I didn't because I have a TRD.

No shocks on '09 and '10 model years. Please review the TSB in its entirety before your appointment. This way there won't be any surprises. I say this because it seems a little odd that the dealership has the 4 leaf packs in stock.

i plan to, but i was thinking they would want to see that the leafs had bottomed out, and approve it to order the parts.

this dealer has been pretty good to us, so maybe they arent bs'n me?? who knows.....

was approved for it, but will have to go back to have it done, the springs were ordered though. A little aggravated that i need to drop it off again after they said they had them in-stock if i needed to have them done, but at least I will be able to carry a full load of fire wood now
