Never thought about YouTube, it would be pretty cool if I made a video of the Installation from Start to finish. Good call, Stay Tuned for a YouTube Channel!!

OK so I bought on last week and have been reading all I can about how you all have hooked it up. I want to avoid the soldering route if at all possible. Having said that, anyone who wired it this way, please let me know what wires you connected to and if they dim when the dash lights dim. I sure appreciate any help you provide.

You will have to solder to the contact points of the switch. However. I used Wire Taps to connect to the power supply as I wanted to avoid as much soldering as possible. As for the dimming, I can't say since I haven't tried.

Thats actually not true, you can just cut off the two silver contacts, and run the wire through the back of the switch, without cutting the wires. This will then allow you to T-tap directly to the AC wiring on the last page of the procedure. When doing it this way the polarity has to change.

So if I don't solder to the switch contacts and run the wires out the back and T tap to the AC wires - will the 4x4 switch dim with the rest of the dash? If so, that is how I will wire it. If not can you suggest a circuit that will provide this function and where I can locate the harness?
    Thanks for the help

    Nick,
If you get power from the two wires in my procedure, the switch will dim with the rest of the dash lights.

Shannon, on the last page of your instructions, am I looking at the back of the 3 switch heater/ac control panel? If so, how did you remove the panel? If this is not what you have pictured, please explain how to access the AC wire harness.

    Thanks Nick

So what happened to the wiring procedure that was posted in here this afternoon? There like a whole page missing?
