    It still depends, if it's just brake pads then I would think they should be similar in price.

    And a Saturn Ion is legitimately a worthless car, unless it's a Redline with the supercharged engine in it...

    Yeah it is nothing more than a Chevy Cobalt, I wouldn't want one.

    The Cobalt was somewhat better, though the value drops out of those like nobody's business as well...

    I'm glad we don't have them, basically just another tax.

    The Ion is the same platform at the Cobalt and G5, definitely worthless.

    I was the one who told her to buy a Toyota; She had a 2013 Honda CRV LX 4WD that she bought in September 2014 with high miles; 38K or 41K (I forget). I was with her the night she bought the CRV. She loved the CRV, but she managed to put about 90K on it in just three years; It needed a ton of stuff to pass inspection, and it had this annoying issue with the Bluetooth.

    She had a 2006 Scion XA before CRV, which she bought used in 2009 with almost 90K on it; The Scion had high miles, but it was in good shape and it was cheap; That car had like 160K on it when she sold it in 2014 and still ran great, and I got a hundred bucks from the sale proceeds because I detailed it for her!

    I was the one who bugged her to "join Club Toyota" when she brought up the idea of trading the Honda in; Her husband drives a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport, which did not get the "Charlie Seal of Approval", but which I begrudgingly did accept once I found out it was the 3.6L V6 and not the shitty Fiat 4-banger...

    That's because they're either bought at insurance auctions, repaired, and put back on the road...

    Or...

    The ones that are too badly damaged to be fixed are picked clean of all good parts within weeks or even days!

    So it really didn’t turn out bad at all, considering it was exposed to about half a decade of extreme Pennsylvania weather. However, I am not entirely sure I’m going to put it on my truck just yet; I was just curious to see if the skills I learned from ten months of detailing cars for a living could make it look decent again! That, combined with the fact that I only paid ten bucks for it, is what led me to take it home; I initially only wanted the kick panel and sill plate, and I bought the door panel on a whim...

    @shakerhood

    Went to see my best friend’s band play at a bar in New Hope, and this beauty was parked near me (You can see my grille poking up over the right side of the windshield)!

    Yes! Haven’t gone fishing in a few years though...

    A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!
