Help with 4 channel amp choice

I have all my wiring hooked up and rca's done all the way until under the passenger side seat (about 2 in high) in my 1st gen. I am having a hard time finding an amp small enough to fit under the seat while also having enough juice to run front speakers with poppers and my rear speakers. Speakers are 3 ohm 60W RMS and 180 peak in the front and the same for the back. Front head unit has 5V pre outs. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should look into? (Looking for sound quality while being able to pack a punch).

 

Alpine power pack for a cheap option
Rockford T400 for a higher end option

 

I was over here basically looking for the same info. I just want to boost up my stock headunit a bit. I was debating between the

$290 Alpine KTP-445U Universal Power Pack

Alpine KTP-445U and the Kicker 42PXA300.4. Any thoughts? Or are they pretty much just the same thing.

 

The Kicker is weather resistant and capable of more power, but very similar other than that.
If you’re keeping the factory radio, look through the Kicker Key threads

 

Oh awesome thank you. Yeah that looks like it might work better with an OE headunit. I'm gonna keep my base unit for now, but will probably swap it out for a factory touchscreen at some later date.

The T series are tiny, and amazing amps. Put out way more power than they’re rated for, and have the clip/distortion lights built in making gain setting super easy.

 

I thought the t-400 didn't have clip lights?

 

You want Audio Control ACM amps IMO. I was in the market for a small amp when going bi-amp and did a lot of looking around. The ACM was an easy choice for my application.

Those are also great options! Completely forgot about them. By far the best quality for the size.

 

I second the ACM amps, Im running 3 of them and love them.

 

Ended up buying a kicker key, looks like it's a bit better for the factory HU like you said.

There's a seller on ebay selling new ones for $175 if anyone is interested. Was the best deal I was able to find on one. I may or may not have bought a kicker hideaway sub too... lol. I don't really *do* car audio anymore, but, for like $150, and I"m already putting an amp in... why not haha.
