Yep, a lower temp will impart more smoke flavor. I know because the interweb says so. ;) For once, I agree with the interweb.

It feels awful. Idk what happened. It worked perfect then I got my Davy Crockett and that fucked the WiFi up. I even connected on my girls phone and it was connected but was saying “not connected to WiFi” like wut. It’s clearly connected!

Here’s my specialty. Smoked beef ribs off my Kamado Joe. Coat them in horseradish mustard and then a homemade rub then F4ECE2D5-FB42-432A-A2C3-FE380FF46735.jpg smoke for about 10 hours

    1. Toggle the Grill off.
    2. Hold the "FOOD" button down, Then toggle the grill on, while continuing to hold "FOOD" button for about 15 seconds
    3. The LCD Panel will begin to count up from 1 to 999, Release the "Food" button. Then wait for the Display to show "Off" on the LCD Panel
    4. Toggle your Grill off then back on to complete the board reset
    5. Give your grill about 30 seconds to reboot the wireless chip to begin broadcasting the GMG Network again.

The app is on your phone right? Keep it simple and power off your phone and back on. It could be something as simple as that. The app itself could be causing the issue. Take a deep breath and work through the simple stuff first.

I wanna try my hand at these some day. I had some to smoke a few months ago and opened the package and man were they rank. Still haven’t recovered from that smell to attempt another batch.

Got an upper rack for the Jim Bowie bolted in today. Going to break it in with salsa and wings.

Perhaps uninstall the app and reinstall?

I reinstalled twice on my phone. I couldn’t even get it to connect to my app. Then I took my girls phone and downloaded the app for the first time ever, it recognized the grill at first, and then said it wasn’t connected to a grill even though it was showing. I will probably call customer support tomorrow. This is my first time using the DB WiFi since I got my DC and had to go off server mode. I’m sure customer support will take care of me.

I’ve only had to call support once but they were very helpful and very nice. I’m sure they will get you taken care of. Keep us updated as I am considering getting a DC for camping and don’t want to run in to the same issue.

    Veggies are on for salsa

Ya I’ve only had to call once as well and they were great. I might try plugging in the DC a little later and see if the WiFi works on it. Maybe then I can disconnect that and then reconnect to the DB. I know I had to leave server mode on the app when I got the DC to be able to connect it to the WiFi. I never got the DC to server mode though. I’m gonna do some research and see if I can figure out what’s wrong before I call tomorrow. But I didn’t have time to mess with it this morning as I had to get the butt cookin!
