    Nice job dude. I think I might like that black thread better than the red. Even though my PRO has red stitched seats, the black thread just looks cleaner on the steering wheel.

    I'm retired, got nothing but time, and patience. Plus my mother was a professional seamstress, so I learned how to sew at an early age.

    That's a slick setup. I really like the orange stripe. Had it on my Raptor and it surprisingly makes a difference when offroading.

    The tape was garbage and i would try to pull off the one side and it would leave the paper film on it instead of the tape. I work at a firm that has some decent double sided tape in its storage so i borrowed a roll. Super glue is a must for keeping the edges clean around the plastic controls. really glad i decided to use that and it made the edges look really clean and i have confidence they will stay that way.

    don't ask, just use extra contact cement. a second go-round to get it super tight is a whole day's work!

    I plan on going back and adding stitching to the other loops since i did the every other loop method. Im not finished but it was good enough to show off. Also i ripped off some loops and had to use the holes in the leather. So just a little heads up (ive never sewed anything ) i can be known to gorilla arm things here and there.

    un hook the negative terminal and 5 minutes to take it off. ive had mine off for my fog light stalk install also.

    Stitching it on is a pain on or off the car. my stitching is terrible and i had issues with applying too much force to the thread and popping out the loops but ive re stitched it and its on there to stay.

    Very nice! I prefer the $9 foam lace on because it isn’t as slippery as leather but it looks like absolute crap compared to what you did. Good job.

    Here for motivation, Found this too late. I failed 2 times this week on my 2010 wheel, but I never used tape or glue and didn't remove anything (No wonder I failed). I'll try one more time removing the airbag and using glue.
