Question for people in the know. Does the arc in these leafspring look normal for being 14 months old, zero towing and just a AllPro bumper and spare tire.

This is what I'm thinking. This is the email (removed order info and personal info) I attempted to send ARB USA but conveniently their email for warranty seems to not be working. I keep getting a error message from their end. I'll update everybody on how they plan on handling this, but not looking great as it appears they tend to find arbitrary reasons to avoid warranty from a quick web search.

"On 11/25/2018 I ordered a set of OME Heavyload EL096R leafsprings from Low Range offroad and installed on December 10, 2018. Shortly after I noticed after I noticed that the springs appeared to be settling much lower than anticipated. I contacted Low Range and was informed that I would have to take it up with arb. Upon contacting arb I was informed that "it was normal settling". Fast forward to now and my leafspring appear to be developing a reversed arc. My truck is my daily I do not tow and besides my Allpro bumper and spare tire I rarely carry any additional weight. I have pictures I can send you. Please someone contact me regarding this issue."

Ok, got a PO418 code.☹️ Took out the secondary air pump and checks, working fine. 4cly. 2009 AC BASE MODEL. Not getting any voltage to the pump that I can tell. Is the voltage constant or does it send when needed? Checked all the fuses that I think are related. Not sure from searching which relay is related. Checked hoses and wires, nothing apparent. No limp mode or issues other than the check engine light. No codes such as P244x that would be related. Have not checked the voltage to the solenoid yet. Any leads or help would be greatly appreciated!

Me. I’m a CPA and do individual and small business taxes. Send me a PM and we can set something up.

TurboTax is solid for simple returns but don’t pay for it. If you get to the point that you are paying to use it, you are better off just hiring someone. 1) you don’t have to deal with any of it 2) if you have any kind of complex situation you are likely missing something in TurboTax and 3) having a cpa do it isn’t much more than TurboTax once you factor in the various fees for more complicated returns.
With client portals, e-signatures and efile, you really don’t need the old fashioned sit with the CPA anymore. I still do it for initial meetings and for the clients that still want to meet, but I would say half my clients I haven't physically seen in years. Hell, most of them are in Florida.

I have the Dakar HD's. Had them 7 months. Also seem to have that negative curve in them

Maybe 300lbs on the back? Bed rack/RTT/spare tire. No bumper

    Is this common for Dakars?

This is making me feel good about my choice on all pro expeditions.

So I contacted ARB this morning and talked to Jacob and after explaining the situation i was told this is "normal" but they would be willing to take a look. Now I havent gotten a response back yet but based on ARBs initial response it doesn't look promising. I also contacted Low Range offroad to get their take and talked with Jesus and based on the same information he says something doesn't sound right.
    Will keep you guys posted.

Talked to a local shop owner this morning also and he's saying the same most everybody is "something is wrong" he would expect that from a tired set of springs that were worked hard but not on a set of 14 month old springs on a light weight tacoma. Hell most the weight is on the front (arb bumper, winch and front skid plate) which would actually alleviate some of the rear weight.

I've seen this from a bunch of ARB/Thick pack leaf springs on the back of Tacoma trucks. Measure from the axle tube to the bottom of the frame and confirm lift height compared to a stock truck.

Would you happen to know the stock measurement on a second gen new truck?

No, it varies depending on option package, engine and cab. I'll look for a TRD Off road to compare it to.

Would mine being a short bed change those numbers compared to a long bed?

Yes, as with any spring, increases in weight will cause the vehicle to ride lower. So the fattest truck would be the 4 door long bed with leather and JBL. Toyota only has 2 part numbers for rear springs, standard cab and everything else.
