I know buddy, he posted puddles in January and didn’t come out till late May. Multiple revisions, RD&T, other partnered manufacturers, design changes. It’s a process. I'm an application engineer at a manufacturing company ~ I work in custom engineering but things take time man. Meeting specifications, nema ratings, UL ratings, seismic ratings, I know Meso doesn’t have to go through all that but a solo guy with an assistant is a lot to take on. Dude is making monumental leaps and bounds creating ideas, designing, sourcing, testing and manufacturing.
All I can say is hang in there, his priorities are in the right place with all of us in mind and getting quality product to us at more than reasonable prices.
We’ve all felt your pain my dude, cheers to the good fight of the waiting, anticipation game

Sorry to quote myself, but do you have an answer for this @MESO? I think I'll be ordering some stuff tomorrow and want to know if I should order the voodoo blue fob or wait for more color options in the future? Thanks!

So I’ve Been waiting until I am out of a few colors before I make another run of them. We are at that point now.
I will be doing more Cement, White, Quicksand, and thinking about dropping the OD color in favor of a new ARMY GREEN fob.

FLIPS won’t have that many color variations, maybe 4 colors

Thank you! An army green color would actually make it a pretty tough decision for me between that and a voodoo blue. I think I'll wait a bit and see what the army green looks like, if you do end up making those available that is!

They cost more to produce, combined with the smaller market of applications it will fit(ONLY manuals and SR models). So I can't make every single color like the Automatic minimalists. Finally, to run each color I need a MOQ(to make it worth the time of loading the plastic, color matching, etc)
Long story short, I am going off the EMAIL signups on my site to gauge popularity. So far it's BLACK, CEMENT, RED, And QUICKSAND.

Tough, but fair. I’d love a Cavalry, but black or cement will work all the same.

Perhaps you could gauge interest like a group buy sign up for additional colors with deposits?

Noooo! orange or a green please!!!! I didn't realize you had to sign up for a specific color, thought it was a sign up for just when they're ready to go as a whole

@MESO when the flip fobs become available, is there a procedure to make sure the correct style is ordered? Should we send a pic of the current fob so the right layout will be sent?

Any plans (now or later) to produce flips for push button automatics where the flip key could be cut as the tailgate/door key? That would be very useful (and maybe popular too).

Just need to refer to this picture to confirm fitment

Yes. I am already working on a design, but want to get The original flip fobs out to the market first. Now that the 2020 4 runner and tundra share the smart key... it’s definitely happening.

@MESO I have a 2019 SR that originally didn't come with keyless entry. I added the OEM keyless entry kit (part #00016-32912) afterwards. Will this work with the FLIP key? Thanks for the info!
