South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

I thought people just used random lengths when they bobbed. He said he actually bobbed it back further than he originally planned so he could use the dc softopper.

Gas tank is raised, 5 sp conversion this month, t case clocked.
He's currently prepping it for flat belly and shave everything underneath and run frame to frame skids with long travel up front. pretty trick.

 

ah gotcha. he just limited the bob so that he could still use a topper. that makes much more sense.

 

Trying to offload those leaf springs? Any idea if they'd fit a 2013??

 

i havent seen one in years either. the wife and i dont sports very well.

yep. i can do that too. there used to be a channel on TV that had nothing but sports like that. the bar i used to live at in college would always put it on for us when we got there. i could watch MTB for days

 

I’m going to be posting my extended travel Icon coilovers with 650lb springs for $450 soon. They need a rebuild. Let me know if you’re interested. They ride amazing, just got a brand new set with 700lb springs.

This is about as close to sports as I get and I've lost quite a bit of interest in it the last couple years.

































And maybe some woman's volleyball if it happens to be on.

Not familiar with any other shock- but everyone that rides in my truck says my Icon suspension is very smooth. I even have “crappy” BFG ko2’s at 41 psi!


today is the 5 year anniversary of @ahspurlock installing my suspension.

how does Icon and BFG stay in business...??

I like the icons cause they are digressive shocks. I don’t run a sway bar and it’s not sketchy at all on the highway

 

found a line graph somewhere showed digressive and progressive dampening- or some such. All were nearly identical; As I remember start points were a little different; end points were very similar.
