noticed some bad vibes going on in the fuel door locking mechanism getting limpish so attempted some preventative maintenance, will see how well it holds up! have previously read issues with it on TW with breaking or whatnot
i may have had some abrasive blast media find its way up in there while i was under the rear wheel well last fall having fun...
that grit might have started sticking the coil that springs it back or other when you take the key out :notsure:

    IMG_0290.jpg

flexed it all the way over to lube up well and good, sprayed, soaked and penetrated
    IMG_0294.jpg

used this product, its not just for tight nuts!

    IMG_0299.jpg

the black latch thing seemed to fully & properly retract without finger help as has been the recent routine at fillup after opening the door

i even gently pushed the door close and locked easily, for the past few months I have been using the key to close and lock it since i read of this issue

I couldn’t tell you either way. This one was originally for a full size truck but the PO cut it down to fit a Ranger.

They stopped making them. I had a similar one made locally by @GHOST SHIP, if you're ever out this way in SoCal or can work out a good shipping deal hit him up about one

Keep an eye on Craigslist and other resale sites. I saw a lot of them on there floating around for between 50$-250$ pending damage/work needed.

So I put new rotors on my truck and the drives side wheel stud snapped off when taking the wheel off.
I put the rotors on and had to order the wheel stud that snapped and was driving with 5 bolts with no issues with the new rotors.

I got 6 new wheel studs two days later and decided to replace all of them.

I used a big hammer to get the studs out

The rotor was stuck on too after all the bolts were removed. Odd because it was just installed two days ago.

Did I just mess up my front wheel hub and bend it by hammering out the bolts?
And or bend my new rotor?

Now my steering has a bad shake above 40 mph past 80 mph.

Finally finished the Relentless Fabrication bumper. 2 layers of self-etching primer, and 3 layers of Rusto Oil Based Enamel Black sprayed with my HVLP gun. Wired all the lights and the horns too.

I’m running Rigid SAE Fog Lights, along with Feinex T3’s for the turn signals. My spot lights are KC HiLites 711 LED pods.

Yeah, I know the other headlight is out. The Ballast and the switchback driver went out.

I bought these aftermarket smoked corner lights, but the fitment is so atrocious I’m returning them.

Yup, I’m going to need one to pull my wallet out of the deep pit that it’s in.
