Awesome. I'm going to get some 16x8 in Matte Black in that case.

Curious to know what these cost. Checked the FN website and don’t see them.

I believe you will be happy with them. I went with the high gloss dark gunmetal versus the matte gunmetal because I believe they will be easier to keep clean. Either way I don't think you can go wrong.

I’ve had mine in matte gunmetal for over three years, almost 50,000 miles and quite a bit of wheeling...absolutely no issues. You won’t regret buying these over the 17x7 “OEM” SEMA wheels.

They seem to range from $799 to $899 per set of 4, depending on size and color.
Lug Nuts (OEM won't work) are an extra $29
TRD Center caps are $40 extra

Man, those could be it for me. I hate the gloss black Pro wheels, this could be a good compromise.

I did a word search in this thread for cavalry, but didn't see. Anyone have pics of anything non-gloss black mounted?

Also, that's my Discount Tire location, and won't buy tires from anywhere else. Now I'm a bit concerned.

I haven't seen these on cavalry blue but hopefully someone has that can post it for you. According to Dustin discount tire recently increased the number of turns they want on the lugs which is why they didn't want to install them. He said he has never heard of a tire coming off while using his lugs. I just took them home and put them on myself. Checked them several times and all lugs have been tight. No issues. Love the wheels.

When I had my new tires installed on my FN wheels three years ago, my local DT didn’t want to mount them either. They said their policy was at least 7 threads IIRC and they could only get 6-6.5 turns on each wheel. The manager almost didn’t do it but after talking directly to Dustin on the phone, he reluctantly agreed to install them. They were even trying to sell me some different lug nuts that were incorrect for the wheel which would have made matters worse by screwing up my wheels.

It was really cool that Dustin @JdMeF9SiR2 (FN Wheels) was willing to take the time to take the manager’s call and help me out. Quality wheels from a stand-up dude running a legitimate and professional business!

I have no regrets whatsoever and I have never had one loose lug nut in 50,000 miles.

Same here. They wanted 7 but just came up short of that. I tried to reach Dustin while there with no luck. Wasn't able to make them comfortable enough to mount them. Also tried to sell me the wrong lugs but I didnt bite. Dustin called me about an hour later when I was home to confirm they were safe to mount which I had read in another post. Agree he is a great guy to deal with and is very knowledgable plus makes a great product. Would highly recommended and I'm loving my wheels. One question, have you been back to DT for any reason, balance, rotate, etc. with your wheels and were they willing to do the work and mount them back on your truck? I read where someone had the same issue with DT when they initially bought the tires but didnt have the issue when they returned for balancing or rotating.

I’ve been back several times without any issues. I think it’s a matter of mounting tires on NEW wheels that aren’t purchased through them. I understand it’s a liability issue and they’re just covering themselves or being overly cautious anyways.
But I don’t like how they try to sell you lug nuts that are improper for the wheel without recognizing the problem THEY would be creating.

That's good to know. You're probably right because he told me I should have purchased the wheels through him and I told him they could not be purchased through him. He did not believe me and tried to look them up then realized he was wrong. I agree it's a bad idea for them to try to sell lugs that don't match the wheels. That's just a disaster waiting to happen. Appreciate the info.

When I got these installed they warned me about the threads. I told them this is what the manufacturer sells for them for my truck and it would be fine. They said ok but that they could not be held liable, I said thats fine and they installed them. Other locations never said a word to me during rotations or new tire installs. I've since moved on to another wheel with ET lugs and since have always thought "I wonder why FN doesnt have ET lugs for these wheels". Either way it didnt mater in the end, I ran them for around 50k with no issues.

Someone may correct me but I dont believe the FN FX Pro wheels are supposed to be mounted with the ET lugs. Seems I have read that somewhere before but may be mistaken. Wont be the first time or last.:D

Not sure but the lugs they sell for with them are not ET.
