Hey TW, I've been looking at various roof racks for my 06 Access cab. What are some good options, and why? I'm currently looking at the Prinsu or Victory 4x4 racks. Anybody running either one of those? What do you think of them? Any feedback will be much appreciated:thumbsup::headbang:

I have thule racks. 4 of them. Two on the cab and two on the shell. I've had 600 pounds of plywood on them and they didn't break. I also carry bikes and kayaks easily. Most aftermarket stuff fits them. They can be found on craigslist pretty cheap. Any other questions?

nope. i guess i should be a little more specific though. I've looked at the Prinsu and Victory 4x4 roofracks mainly, looking for something similiar to that, that i can mount a lightbar on. If anybody has either one let me know what you think of them.

3D3B48B1-30E8-40C9-B293-081539375EE7.jpg OK, I’ve got a FrontRunner I found used on Craigslist. It’s as sturdy as the truck itself, I’ve loaded it with tanks to water tree plantings and control brush fires, stood on it to trim hedges, and used it to carry too much gear for family camping trips. I’ve always had and maxed out Thule and Yakima in the past, but this is a beast. No light bar on mine, but there is a simple bracket for one. Hope this helps.99040417-64AA-46C7-A729-92CA9767F07E.jpg

I went with the Rhino rack which looks very similar to the Frontrunner racks. Lots of accessories for mounting various items.

I went with Rhino because it offers the track system with locking quick mounts so I take it off when not in use. No wind noise or mpg reduction when I don't want it.

If you have access to expert voice you get a really big discount on it too.

Coming from a yakima rack setup and the horror stories I've read with those bars coming loose hauling heavy items, I went with the prinsu rack for the strength, looks, and versatility. Screw the fuel mileage. For a cheaper knockoff of the prinsu, there are many here running the Hooke Road roof rack.

prinsu up front, k9 out back. prinsu flexes quite easily, while the k9 and front runner racks can take a good amount of weight before flexing

I've owned both Prinsu and Front Runner Slimline ii. Both are excellent and have pro/cons.

The Prinsu is very sleek and lite. The Front Runner is beefy as hell! You won't go wrong w either.

Each has a specific "look" too. IMG_20200123_115208840.jpg

I am running the Victory 4x4 rack on my double cab. Solid and I recommend:

+1 for Victory4x4. I have their cab rack and topper rack. No complaints at all.
