Also, on the way up, I had my softopper on with the front and rear windows removed. On the way back I had an open bed. Whether that makes any difference. If the wind hadn't been so bad, I might have gotten a few more mpg.

Did you replace your stock tank with a smaller one?

Am I seeing it right as 18.5 gal tank?
Thought it was always 17 gal.

18.5 gallons. You're not alone, it's becoming more clear that many here don't know their tank's capacity.

same here. 3.4 Auto DCSB with 4.88’s, E-rated 33” MT’s, full steel skids, front bumper, winch, and a ARE topper. I typically fill up when the light comes on which is usually around 220. Max I’ve pushed the tank to is 250 and most I’ve ever filled up is a little over 16 gallons.

oh, and my speedo/odo is GPS calibrated/corrected thanks to a Dakota Digital I have mounted one my glove box.

    I think that's where I got 17 gals at.
I would run it low and fill ups were always like 17-17.6.

I've coasted into gas stations on fumes a couple times. I know it's bad for the pump, I've heard.

But I've also heard on newer vehicles, the pump shuts off to prevent this.

They suggest 26psi all four on mine. I run psi roughly between the doorjamb suggestion and the max psi stated on the sidewall of whatever tire I have at the time. Currently my tires state 44psi MAX so I run 35psi.

Ran my 392 Challenger dry at like 3am on a busy highway. Hit my SOS button and they delivered gas to me.
