I'm going to have dig my spacers out and take a look, as I took mine off when I went to a thicker leaf pack. I also think that I had mounted the daystar cups to the spacer, instead of the spacer to the bags. Pester me back in a couple days if I don't get back to you.

No worries, I think I figured something out. It looks like the diagram for the spacer is a generic diagram and I should just install mine using my best guess. I was able to sneak a wrench into the middle and get marginal contact on the bolt head—enough to tighten it decently anyway. If anyone can confirm it’s just one center bolt that’d be appreciated though.

I only remember bolts in the center, if you see road salt be sure to use anti seize.

How often do you you have to "top them off" with air to keep them at a specific pressure? How much do they leak?

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
I add 20 psi every 3 months and by then they are down to 5 psi. I also added teflon tape to the brass fittings on the top of the air bags.

Weekend wrenchers beware!! Sure there is no drilling and it's direct bolt on but goooood luck torquing some of the bolts down. Holy HANNAH!! Need hands and tools for a 5 year old and strength of a gorilla. What was said to be a 2-4 hour job is now on hour 4 and I took the day off to finish it. Looking for motivation at the bottom of my coffee cup!

BUUUUT it's worth it! No more sag, no more squat on take off, 10psi is a solid ride not harsh, damn I'm satisfied. I can see the difference in the drivers seat. I have a different look with the right rake. Just a tip, do it on a Saturday, order some pizza fill the cooler and have a buddy come over.

I put the ride rites on this weekend, what a bitch trying to put in those 4 top bolts! I think you would be better off ditching the lock nuts for lock washers so you can hand tighten then torc them down. Those lock nuts are tight all the way down. I'm not a little guy and have big hands, you need little hands especially on the driver's side with the gas tank in the way. But it sure does improve the ride and I haven't even tried towing yet!

Is that the same as the one on the hose? I tried 5/16 coarse and fine and neither worked..

I googled valve stem lock nuts and it seems they are fairly common so a bicycle shop or auto store may have them. My bet is a bike shop will just give me one cause cyclers are cool like that.

So you need the lock nut on the Schrader gas valve - not the bag?

Is it the same size as the valve cap? If it is, it's 7.7mm, 32TPI. In other words, goofball size that is specific to tire valve stems.

Chrome tire valve stems for wheels have a larger nut that holds the stem into the wheel. From memory, I think some motorcycle tubes have a metal stem that is threaded the same as the cap, with a nut to hold it into the rim.

The firestone tech said I would have to buy a new pack of 2 valves part #3467 but couldnt give me anymore information. Tech had an unpleasant tone like i was bothering him by calling for support. All he said was that I would have to order through a dealer.

Ill probably try to find new Schrader Valve with Push to Connect at harbor freight or something

WOW! That's horrible. I have dealt with companies before that would have said, "No problem. I'll put a couple in the mail today. No charge."
