Did you vinyl your hood scoop? I would have traded you mine off my TRD Pro. I want mine white, not black.

Which cover did you go with? I’ve been comparison shopping like crazy and can’t seem to pull the trigger.

Well after looking through damn near half of the pages in this thread I guess I’ll post mine!

Just purchased about a week ago. Today she’s getting new fluids, filters, Husky liners, yellow fogs, black “Tacoma” emblems, and a full detail with ceramic coating.

Purchased a TRD Pro grill with TRD emblems for the front (and possibly tailgate) to replace the ugly grill this truck came with from the dealer.

Currently trying to decide on a bed cover. Right now I’m between the RetraxONE MX and the LoMax. I know there’s a million threads regarding bed covers (I know because I’ve read them all and still can’t make a decision) but if anyone has input on those two covers I would greatly appreciate it!

I went with the OEM. I spoke with a few people that had an issue with aftermarket so I didn't get one even though I liked the price much better. I heard the quality was about the same but 2 guys had issues with water leaking in. May have been from them installing wrong but didnt chance it. I got 22% off from my local dealer and had $50 gift card so it worked for me. Was an easy install and so far no leaks. If you need any tips on installing one send me a PM. Good luck with your decision.

Yes I put vinyl wrap on my scoop and front lower valance. It gives me the option to leave it or take it off. Is the PRO scoop not a decal or vinyl that you can remove? If not I'm sure someone near you would swap with you.

I’m gonna look at mine when I put on the Spartan X. But can’t get a straight answer from Toyota if it’s vinyl over painted white or vinyl over unfinished aluminum. :annoyed:

I would think that would be easy for them to answer. Dont understand why they make things more difficult than they have to be. Have you posted anything on TW asking if anyone knows the answer?

Not yet. Doing the “search” so they don’t flame my question. And I fully agree Toyota service sucks. But Lexus service is great.

Finally joined after stalking on this money pit for a couple years. Picking up my tree stand yesterday and another shot loaded up for camping with the Goblin a few months back.

Welcome to Tacomaworld, and thank you for your service sir! Nice truck too! What suspension setup do you have under it? It looks taller than 3"...

MESO’s Ultimate Turn Signals make the super whites look better IMHO.

Yes I rub slightly on the left front when turning the wheels to the rt side. Because of this the 2” lift is going to be happening much sooner than expected.

Idk if a 2 in will fix that. Something easy to fix like plastic cutting?

Thanks sir! It's a pro comp 6" drop bracket (don't hate!) rest of suspension is still stock with spacers and blocks while I keep spending the money I'm trying to save to upgrade.
