I keep meaning to order 1 or 2 of their 10/22 receivers while a receiver is still considered just a "firearm".

And then cross my fingers and hope Aero's PCC receivers are available sooner rather than later.

Anyone have any experience with both the new Springfield Hellcat and the Sig 365? Interested in both as an EDC. I’m partial to SIG as my first pistol was a 229 in .40 but I’ve heard good things about the hellcat too. I plan to go shoot them both obviously but just looking for some experiences from other people too :)

The security and logistics to block off all entrances and ensure it was safe to practice in there must have been insane. Also 50 bmc seems excessive. 300 win mag is a pretty common police sniper round. Even a 308, a common military sniper round would have been good.

that’s really interesting because shooting in a bowl like that is really difficult with how the wind picks up in a confined space in a stadium.

Ugh I want that PCC from Aero so bad. Check everyday to see if it's on their site yet.

.50 BMG does seem a little excessive considering you aren't looking at shooting more than maybe 350-400 yards inside a stadium, if that. Also it probably wouldn't have much of an effect considering the ranges but there is no way to account for the increase in temp with all the body heat of 60,000+ people in there. I know at the Clink it always seems 10 degrees warmer in the stadium with all of the people in there than it is outside the stadium

Last I saw from them they don't expect it to be on sale until sometime around April. Just need to buy 33rd mags and extensions until then... and maybe finish the two other receiver sets I already have that need parts to finish them.

I guess they would use 50 against material targets in the parking lot, but using it in a crowded stadium seems like it would wayyyyy over penetrate. Also can you imagine the 911 calls from people hearing 50 cal gunfire from the stadium?

Not super familiar with Yankee hill stuff but it looks like a regular ar armours wrench would work long as it has the like two or three prongs on the barrel nut portion.

I know that's how I installed my Troy rail that looks like it has a similar style barrel nut (ie a ton of gas tube holes)

Should be able to pick one up for like 15-20 bucks
