    Good morning. Short commute this morning :pccoffee: But have to go downtown this afternoon for 2 Dr. appointments anyhow.

    Used to be the main reason to watch the Super Bowl was the commercials. I didn't even get to see any this year too busy doing other things.

    Intranet page this morning has an article about part of a clip that was played from 2014 when the son of a provider at the Arizona Clinic returned home early from Afghanistan.



    All week the news has had stuff about the Winona Ryder commercial in Winona. They used locals in it and the interviewed a lot of them about their Super Bowl fame all week. She was born in Winona and named after it. I go to Winona to shoot Eagles. It is where Slippery's is and Grumpy Old Men was about.

    tried to shovel my driveway after it stopped snowing yesterday afternoon and it was solid ice. thankfully the steel blade was able to pop most of the ice up.

    This warmer winter has been putting a damper on outdoor activities here too. Because of thin ice on Lake Winnebago some things have been canceled. The big Sturgeon Spearing season starts soon. The fishing clubs that plow roads on the lake and set up bridges across ice cracks said last week that they are staying off the lake. We are having cooler temps this week but it may not help the ice. This past weekends snow melt is causing open water by rivers and creeks. Also affecting the water clarity. You gotta see the Sturgeon to spear it.
