Ordered my Bravo Rack about a week ago and excited to get it up and installed! I know I'm still a week+ out which gives me time to source some good colorado beer to help with the install!

Other than UpTops awning brackets, does anyone or has anyone tried any other brands that are compatible?

No, but the UpTop brackets work perfectly. Got exactly the amount of clearance I needed for the door & scene lights.

Bought used Dec ‘19 with TRD pro grille, grabber ATx tires 285/75r16, small unknown lift kit. Installed TRD Grille accent lights, Anzo headlights. aluminum running boards.
Anyone know if their bed rack TRUSS system works with tonneau covers? I have a Tacoma OEM folding hard cover.

Also, would a mid height bed rack affect rearview mirror visibility even if nothing is mounted to it? What about wind noise and drag? Never had a bed rack before.

As far as I know the only bed bar/rack system that works with the tonneau cover is the voodoo system.

Bed racks aren't noisy in general.

I have a BAMF Expo Bar which cuts right in the middle of my rear view mirror.

The only thing it does is covers cars headlights for me. But honestly when you start putting stuff back there your rear view is going to get blocked anyway - just get used to turning your head and using the side mirrors more. I have to backup our busses in our yard constantly so working without a rear view is second nature to me so YMMV.

My roof rack did add wind noise... But I also have a plano case and an awning on it.

I installed DSIM Rock light module. Now my scene pods are triggered with dome and puddle lights when door is opened or when I approach vehicle with fob while still retaining ability to operate independently with CH4X4 switch.

Super easy mod. Everything is Plug-n-Play except for 1 wire (relay trigger)

Very similar idea to what I'm going to do, since I I have the older rack without the scene cutouts, I plan on getting BD S1s for that. On that note, is it possible to buy the wiring harness for the scene pods? @NonTraditional @upTOPoverland @upTOPOverland_Drew

Essentially the scene lighting, but instead of the BD rock lights, the BD S1s. All to be triggered off the MESO Puddle Switch. So I can turn them on and off when I need more light around the truck to do work.

I was thinking of doing the same thing: I already have the MESO puddle lights and was thinking of adding rock lights to my rack and wiring them to the to be released puddle switch.
