i personally really like the feel of this truck's chassis tightened up on road. it drives like a big kart with a front weight bias. that's pretty fun on the street. anyway i have bars front and rear and lean on them pretty hard to get around with my truck's setup. i thought of losing the front bar but i honestly spend too much time on the highway to justify it.

Hands down the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I’m a very cautious driver, and that happened in a blink of a eye.

I removed mine permanently, I have OME 887 coils, OME sport shocks and Dakar leaf springs. I have not missed it at all. Slightly more roll/lean in a hard turn, but in no way feels unsafe.

These are amazing! but I'd be very concerned about the strength of those pins during a serious swerve...

I freakin love the handling without the sway bar installed. Loose is fast.

Try it. Worst case you roll it and your insurance company finds out you removed your sway bar and tries to deny your claim.

99.9% of insurance adjusters don't have a clue except for what their training taught them and most definitely wouldn't know if a sway bar was removed.

I highly recommend not removing the tires and driving it. Lol jk

My 21 year old son just landed a new position at the insurance company that he works for. He's going to be an insurance adjuster. He's been there slightly less than a year and has gone from $18 an hour to $25 an hour, he'll be at $28 in less than a year from now. I'm very proud of him.

I did remove my sways, but didn't like the roll. I'm running the Billy 6112's, and still had roll. I now have the 700lb. Billy springs, and will again remove the sways once I install the new heavier springs. Which I'll install once I install a bumper, to compensate for the weight... We shall see....

I wouldn't remove it for street use. Had a buddy remove it running icons in the front and would complain up and down about how unstable it was. Removing it is not good in an emergency situation either, especially when you need to swerve to avoid a collision.

In the spectrum of offroading I would more than likely be happy to remove it. I rarely off-road however so it stays on without any issues. I run upgraded endlinks and a swaybar drop so I don't really have many issues.

I took it off since I purchased new end links and bushings and I'm giving it a try. I feel a smoother ride and dont feel the pot holes or speed bumps as much. I live in Baja and the streets and as shitty as they come so its like off-roading everyday haha. I went and tried the dunes near by and felt great and hit the road at 70mph and didnt feel unstable at all. But in an emergency case I could make a difference for sure.
