Welcome to present and future 'Murica... Don't think it's limited to city/govt workers nor Atlanta.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Don't feel special. Same shit happens out here in the boonies. Every time I go get my can I have to pick up around it where they flung shit out. Then I get to walk the other three hundred yards of roadside on my land picking up shit that assholes throw out while driving by... :annoyed:

The thing I haven't seen before is the whole variety of trash companies. Makes no sense why the neighborhood has three different companies, all who come on different days.

Naturally the trash pickup here is supposed to be early Thursday. But they'll end up showing up half the time on Thursday then the other half could stretch until Monday... So the trash just sits, waiting.

Ours sucked when we were in Grant Park because it was city of Atlanta. They would skip days all the time, trash would be overflowing. Worst was the yard clippings/leaf pickup, in the fall they wouldn't come for two weeks and I would accumulate a ton of bags because they weren't cleaned up, then they would finally show up and not pick them up at all because I had too many bags, threaten a fine for too many bags, and make me schedule a bulk pickup, which takes 2 weeks. And by that point the paper bags had been sitting so long on the curb with rain and what not, if you tried to move them the bottoms would fall out.

Much better out here in Bogart, trash and recycling like clockwork at 7:30 am every Tuesday, no need to worry about government holidays delaying pickup, and I just blow the leaves into the woods behind the back yard.

I am with you on that! My folks and I are looking at property in NC. You can have all this bs. Only thing that has worked out is my house doubled in value in 10yrs. About to rent this sucker out to movie producers and they can enjoy the trashiness.

Competition on the garbage front is certainly welcome. American has bought out almost everyone around here and jacked their prices up.

On happier news, it looks like my dealer is letting me cancel my warranty and service contracts via email, and backdating them to when I first requested it. So I guess I can hold off on leaving nasty reviews.

Haha, same, no complaints on the property value. We were there about 5 years and saw a 60% increase from our purchase price to our sale price, and that is with no upgrades/renovations to the interior (I did do a good bit to the outdoor, but did almost all of it myself so no appreciable cost). Nice little farewell present.

Of course the estimated value (for whatever zillow's opinion is worth) on our house out here in the sticks has gone up 50k since we bought last May too, so maybe its the whole market

I am sure your much happier out there.
I lived in Athens during my college years. That town is awesome and your close enough to enjoy the food.
Got to Caliente n’ Tito’s sometime. It’s my close friends place. Amazing tacos and Cubans, and don’t forget the mango shake!

Yeah, we always planned to get back out this way, timing just finally worked out. I was here for 5 years during college too. Cali n Titos was always our go to before baseball games, love that place.

Both of my kids go to UGA and Caliente n' Tito's definitely on the rotation when we visit Athens.

    I PM’ed the seller.
I’ve been meaning to stay in the truck sale threads, but keep forgetting to check. Been all over FB and Craigslist with no luck.

They suggested the same for my setup. Explaining their valving compensates for the light spring weight. I went against their suggestion and ordered 650lbs with tune. I have not been disappointed and would choose 650’s again. If you need some seat time just let me know.
