the water pump i have now was done in 2oo7

should i paint the new one or powder coat it

i have to get some custom paint mixed, Toyota discontinued it in the touchi[ paintsticks or never had it

 

A little cold this morning

 

saved a wad of cash buying WP from Camelback and not local dealer at list ex markUp, like $40+ i think

Bolt it on you wont have an issue, rattle can it if it bugs you

 

Thats the only way with these trucks

 

i will have to measure it up, and see how it looks non black
not that everything in there is super clean or anything, lots of humidity attacked it over the years, or some road spray from underneath got up in there

 

i have the underside of my cab rubbercoated, seems to deaden sound quite well but IDK
i would have to ride in a tacoma that has no undercoating to tell the difference if any

 

I know my 4 runner is wayyy quieter than my tacoma ever was

 

when i sprayed the CF 3000 gell all over the rubbercoating it turned it AWESOME black and looks like new

just concerned the spray will start to loosen it up and make it peel

 

Drove by a 3rd gen getting towed this morning.

You can get inexpensive sound deadening materials on Amazon. Get the sound dampening stuff down first, that's the stuff that actually dampens vibrations and shit, with the silver backing. Then use a sound deadening material on top of that. That will actually cut the road noise the most and make the biggest difference.

 

fever broke over night and now I just have the residual cough. Feels so fuckin good to be done with myalgias and malaise.

I did poor man's, Frost King from Home Depot, foilbacked self adhesive. Worked out great. I did basically everything, floors, doors, roof, but the most improvement I noted was the back wall.
