It’s been a while for everyone and are now experiencing intense sexual turbo frustration.
Some of us need to go pay for a good time in a boosted vehicle until OVT releases the kit. It should hold them off for a little while and make him/her feel like a born again virgin losing their virginity.

Will the turbo affect towing in any measurable way? I tow a ~3000 - 3500lb bass boat. Will a turbo drastically decrease mpgs? Be bad for the engine since it will constantly be engaged trying to tow?

Pretty new and dumb to this stuff

Affect towing in a measurable way-yes
Decrease MPG?- forced air usually requires more fuel, however is more efficient. Do you have a lead foot?
Bad for the engine?- regular maintenance

I am going to relate this to my experience with towing with boost on my old Tacoma and from the experience of Ecoboost owners. Staying out of boost is key to maintaining fuel efficiency and if the trailer being towed is heavy enough or has enough drag that the tow vehicle has to go into boost to maintain a given speed then the mpg goes out the window. Ecoboost guys has this same problem, they can manage great mpg when not towing if they are easy on the pedal but as soon a they tow the 3.5 displacement by itself is hardly enough to keep a full size truck and trailer cruising down the highway. In my second gen taco that held true for me as well, I could tow a 6000# trailer without issue like it wasn’t back there but my boost gauge needle was really clockwise which made my gas needle move pretty quick as well.
That said I also tow my older 96 Ski Nautique that weighs roughly 4000lbs with the trailer, and the mpg is similar to stock as the boat sits relatively low and is streamlined, making maintaining speed a breeze without boost. So you should be good to go!

At my last medical checkup my physcian told me that I needed to stop masturbating.

I asked him why? Is it to prevent an enlarged prostate gland or maybe urinary tract infection?

He said No, it's making the other patients in the waiting room uncomfortable.

we will be doing our own tow testing.

So, the powermax kit is on hold until we can get a few components CNC'd.
planning on making an upgraded HPFP, and upgraded direct injection rails.

After that we are all set.

So does that mean the base kit is releasing before powermax, or are you waiting to release both at the same time?

Probably smart. Gives enough time to get a surplus of down pipes fabricated and get a bunch of turbos in. I have a feeling you are going to get hit with a bunch more orders than you expect when it releases.

    Depends.
Since I can make the parts, hopefully not, or not much more.

If I had to contract out CNC stuff, it would be inevitable.

But I had a plan if this would happen.. and that's why I bought a CNC lol.
