yup. Pics like this make me question my life choices. And, I'm sorry, but a properly built AC puts all the rest to shame.

My soccer mom days are behind me. I want a truck, not a people hauler. The Dog and the girl fit just fine.

for the last 80 years std cabs suited anybody with a pair just fine.

Not today, but getting my front struts replaced this Friday (Bilstein 5100's). Question, should I go with the 0, .25 or .85? I don't have a lift and don't need one. Rear suspension is stock except for 5100's as well. Front suspension is all stock as well. I was thinking just staying with 0 preset to keep it stock-like. Thoughts?

After 7 years my battery finally gave out. It started with a check engine light on Sunday, which had me worried. When I scanned it I got a low or high power supply voltage. Kind of surprised me because I do not recall a battery ever causing a check engine light to come on. So I ran over to Batteries plus and had them check the battery. They checked the alternator and starter while they were at it. Sure enough the battery had finally gone out. Well out for the most part because I still drove it home and then to work and then to Costco.

I was going to buy and AMG Northstar battery which is north of $300. After reading through the below thread I changed my mind. It requires more voltage to charge than our alternators put out. We put out about 14V and it requires 14.4-14.8 volts to maintain a healthy life. You can buy a plug and play voltage booster that you plug into the fuse slot, but its another $150. 5 year warranty and made in the USA!

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-northstar-agm-battery-voltage-booster-upgrade.604478/

    So $450 = https://www.batteriesplus.com/produ...toyota/tacoma/2013/v6-4.0l-710cca/sli27fagmdp

I decided to go with an Interstate battery from Costco for $94. 3 year warranty. And from what I can find online, based on where I live, made in the USA. Standing in the rain on lunch kind of sucked, but I take a lot of pride in doing things for myself. I actually had to laugh to myself with some of the looks I got. Just changing a battery here folks, it's 3 10MM nuts. Pretty simple stuff.

Oh and if that was you in the blacked out 2nd gen with the 3" lift, and front bumper winch insert that let me back out of my spot. HI :boink:

Thinking of doing this. Opinions needed.
    I have this grille:DBE7305E-4F95-4CF0-8A7E-ADE05AF245B5.jpg
I took off the Toyota badge from the stock grill, just messing around. Considering this:783315EB-B421-434B-8EF3-540C8E90B4B0.jpg
    Or painting the badge black.
Should I go chrome badge, black badge, or no badge? :D:confused:
