    Yeah.
No sympathy, you volunteered for that. But good recovery plan.

I'll be traveling through LR on Friday, headed to Memphis.

When I lived in DFW I worked with a guy who was raised in Telluride, back when it was just a small town in the mountains ... and moved to Dallas. The whole thing was so backwards I couldn’t imagine doing that.

I hadn't looked into it past reading the article, so not sure. I's assume it covers all public lands in every state, but since I'm paid up on GAIA for another year, I hadn't considered it much further. It maybe a better tool and resource for what we do, and when I get time, I'd like to research it. It does have a leg up on GAIA in that is has BLM and other public land, access roads, etc for places 'we' own and can use. That's what I liked about the concept. BLM has millions of acres that are free for us, and many access roads are gated out west, but gates are always unlocked. Just have to know where they are. We can disappear into huge expanses for weeks at a time for primitive camping, fishing, hunting, all kinds of recreational possibilities on public lands. This app seemed to cover all that specifically, which GAIA does not.

    A thing or two...
It should cover all public lands. Depending on the state/county/city, it will give you land owner names as well. I have their GPS chip for New Mexico from when I lived/hunted in NM.

Rigged up my tent in a spot out of the way so I can still park in my garage. Unfortunately, due to a shelf at the back, there's not enough room to back in with the tent on. I would pull in, but gosh it's against my nature. Some string and a ping pong ball, and I could do it.

Also, 12' 2x4s provide sufficient leverage to lift/remove the tent from my kbvoodoo hi rise bars. Removing the RTT solo still isn't fun, but it works.

How was the Falls? I camp out in that area every now and then, there are some decent areas to spend the weekend.

    Yeah.
I was following a burgundy 3rd gen up Central/72 on the way home from work yesterday. It had a CVT mounted on a short KB Voodoo style rack and continued on up toward Pea Ridge. Anyone here?

Do you NWA guys get together often for trails or camping? I'm not too far from you guys, I haven't really seen anyone on here for the Fort Smith area. Although there are several tacoma's and 4runner that are modified around here. I saw a decked out overlander the other day on my way into work, hadn't seen it before so he might have just been passing through.
