Because you have a key. All push-to-starts will turn off with a remote start when you open the door.

One way or another you'll find out what they're made of, hopefully it will go well, I mean it's not like they won't be reimbursed for the work as long as it doesn't require extra work.

True. I'm actually curious as to what they'll say. I haven't run across anyone else whose done the relocate and then received their frame recall. So I'll post the results on TW when I hear back from my dealer, maybe it can set a bit of precedent.

Is that a Boonedox bed extender? If so how do you like it? I'm thinking about picking one up.

I kinda thought something was going on...but obviously not enough to stay away

maybe you can tell your dealer that the cab mounts rusted through so you just went ahead did that work.

I like your style. If they don't bite, I'll try the "But another dealer installed it!" and see how it goes.

A bed extender is a great addition to any pickup, short or long bed. I've used a Darby brand (same one for both vehicles) extender for years both in my 2nd Gen as well as in my 3rd. Under $100, durable and we'll worth the money.
I carry my canoe, kayaks, pt lumber and even (2) telephone poles for gate posts cut to 12' each and those suckers are heavy!. Can't speak to similar extenders but can give a solid recommendation to the Darby. 300lb rating. A hitch mounted bed extender is well worth the money and is a plus for any pickup owner.

Just tell them you brought it in 6 months ago to have the cmc done. If I remember correctly it was a tech named Carl. Did a great job.

It’s all about a subtle sell and name dropping.

Really put in the work last couple days. Hello 5.29s! ARB front locker! ARB twin tank under the hood. She's becoming an offroad contender now. :)

That's awesome, well done! I was thinking to do a front locker if I re-gear as well. Do you have any photos of the tank / location you can post?

Got a sticker today and to celebrate I’ve made this, my 3000d’s post on TW!

Yes, 2950 of which are absolutely balderdash at its best, but 50 are magnificent works of genius, allowing me to sell my ever growing pile of take-offs without fatal ModBST Repercussions.
