Why don't you shave off the carpet you have now and coat in flex seal?

 

That;s what I thought. Figured I'd ask since the 4runner guys hardly do any work for themselves even.

 

I'm still debating going with vinyl floor in the 4R. Carpet would be nice but a pain to keep clean and more expensive.

 

All the vinyl I've come across or installed has been a pain. It's usually too thick to properly seat even when working with it in extreme heat.

 

Oh I'm aware. It's a pain in the dick but looks good and cleans easy. I love the vinyl I installed in the Taco.

 

Turned into a war of EGOs. Egged on by Mod deletes at first. Mod was probably busy by REPORTs and own posts/replies getting tiresome so. Bu bye.

 

My tundras bearing noise is fixed now.

I think we have the 12 ton in the shop at work. If its good enough for a bunch of maintenance techs who are hard on tools, it'll be good enough for your needs.

 

12 ton may have issues with wheel bearings on the 1st gens. But likely will do anything else

 

I think the size of the frame would be an issue before needing 8 more tons of force would be required.

i opened the WP box from Camelback and it doesn't look like what is on my truck!

is there a separate piece or cover that the lower radiator hose connects to?
it was not in the box, just a couple of gaskets included

 

The thermostat housing bolts to the pump.

i got a new thermostat but the box is small

 

Just drove by this guy, did somebody tell him 555 was OEM‍♂️

 

Actually... it's more likely they are OEM with 250~~~ miles on them. That's how the vast majority of the LBJ failures actually occur.
