You are correct. I don't need a warranty, so long as it isn't broken out of the box I'm good. I have mad Jerry-rig skills.

Or, you guys could kill each other over market share and the rest of us could scavenge the trucks of those who don’t make it.

i discovered after buying mine that it is an air filter from an air compressor. Like $15 worth of parts.
Ha! Clearly you never met Justin. More pride in usership I would say. Like my old truck, keep the cab nice and fuck the rest, although I admit I did wet sand and buff before I sold it.

I'm going with a St Helens. I don't necessarily need one right now either, but for the price, I think I will struggle to find a hardshell for similar in a few months.

There was a discussion last month on canopy weight ratings, I called ARE and they don't rate them but the dude said 100% no worries it'll be plenty strong, so that's good to know

Not sure I will have enough time to take it to Snell. Curious where other people are going for their Shock rebuilds? My icons are getting pretty close to needing maintenance.

When I did mine I couldn't really find anywhere that was interested in doing rebuilds.

I ended up doing mine myself as much as I could but getting the springs off and on is no small task. I had to take them to Torfab twice to get this done which cost about $120 for an hour of shop time. Also I didn't have the stuff to nitrogen charge them so I had to take them to a motorcycle shop which was another $55.

The rest of it is easy, dump oil, change seals, cleanup and polish any rusty spots, fill oil and put it all back together.

With Jim having the spring compressor and nitrogen stuff he is really the best option around that I know of to get it done.

Lol, I have no idea WTF happened I quoted Justin’s post about the 13.5” light bar to ask where he found it and was stuck in 2015 after I posted it. Then I thought WTF I just quoted something from 2015, so I went ahead and edited my post so it didn’t look like I asked where you found your tent or I threw out some random shit from 2015. The edit posted didn’t show the screenshot I took of it going from 4/5/2015 to 31 minutes. Shit went sideways fast. Then it posted another screenshot. That’s when I decided fuck it and rebooted my phone.

I'm laughing so hard. But you have no proof, so it just appears you don't know how to internet. Fantastic

Edit: now I see the 2015 date. What the shit

Really though the only hard part is spring removal and the nitrogen charge. More just finding someone to do it for you and not charge a ton. For the spring compressor I'd check local, small shops and they might just let you do it yourself. Anymore its one of those things they have but dont use often (cheaper to buy preassembled these days).
