Yes it’s the Boonedox landing gear. Highly recommended it you have any thing no longer then 14-15 ft. Also will recommend purchasing a lock for it as well.

 

switched the grille out for a TRD Pro replica with raptor lights.

 

The mods don't have to be big changes to be satisfying. Happy modding!!!

I do like it. In fact it came with my 2017 Taco Pro and had given to this friend a few months ago.

 

Swapped out the M/T Wildpeaks in favor of some Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.

 

Phase 2: Removed the factory emblem following the excellent instructions here by JimmyRigged88. I used a soldering iron to melt the plastic pegs.



Replaced it with @JimmyRigged88's devil horns emblem, Etsy P/N 704738798:



A section of the 3D printing filament was included. I used it like a welding filler rod with a soldering iron to attach the emblem:

Well..so far so good, but I have't been doing anything to really push them. I did not get the sway bar though. Overall, I think it's doing what I've asked of it. Going over speed pumps in parking lots feels much more stable with less bounce and I'm certainly not touching the bump stops at all. Some folks said that they were noisy, but I haven't heard that from mine. I've just been skiing on my weekends, so I'm not putting much weight in the bed. I think when the dive conditions get a bit batter, I'll be adding lots of weight in tanks and gear. That would be a good comparison. I'll be sure to keep you posted.

 

Why exactly are they out of channel?

 

A little help. Just after joining the thread, I saw a post about a locking replacement storage box for the drivers side of the bed area. It was deeper and sealed. Anyone remember /have this? Can you provide a link? Thanks.

I like your no holds bar approach to wiring and aux relay box mounts. I think it is perfectly acceptable to use good water tight DIY parts and ziptie em all together. I do it too. One weekend last fall I went for it and tidied it up but now I’m itching for a new project and the hood light is a good one.

That is an awesome before and after pic!!!!!! And, I like that bracket you have for your box mount! After years of messing with a jeep, Toyota pickup, 4runner, fjcruiser, and now back to a Tacoma...I've gotten little bold with my electrical now. I already bought a roof rack (haven't installed yet), but I'm already thinking I need to get the UpTop roof rack and full height bed rack instead and prep for wiring all the cool stuff UpTop!! hahahaha
