Curious about this as well. I have the Harley factory extended tire warranty and got a hookup on replacing my worn tires at 11k miles for free-99, thanks to a bunch of cool service writers and technicians.

 

My service department wrote them under road hazard and turned them in damaged. I did have to pay extra for it, though. Harley sends actual claims adjusters to investigate tires because it's so lucrative for dealers under warranty.

It’s a dealer-specific deal. They apply it for all new bikes bought from them. So pretty cool thing.

Yeah for sure. Especially since MSRP is $14.6 I feel like I should be able to get 1k knocked off. Will find out soon

We live in the only house we've ever bought, 18 years ago this month...moving would scare me so bad.

 

Other Harley dealers don't recognise other dealers' plans and warranties unless they're factory. I'd opt out of dealer specific stuff and opt into factory stuff. My factory extended warranties has saved me nearly $5k in repairs and maintenance. They added $7k in the price of my bike new, not including interest.

It’s just free tires from them. And they’re the closest dealer to me. They don’t “charge” for them as best as I can tell. It’s just a promotion type thing they always have to incentivize people to buy from them.
I’m debating whether or not I should get extended warranties / the VIP maintenance option.
