Lol I dont think so. Most of those people have way to much power going to the trans. My truck is stock

 

It’s crazy how high power vehicles can fuck transmissions. Toyota guys will never understand that but hey, who needs to have power and fun whenever your trans can last 300,000 miles

 

Tacoma guys will never understand 1000 foot pounds of torque

 

I have a f150 with the 5.0 now. It has power for days but gah damn I still miss that diesel Torque lol

 

Tell that to the people who ran the superchargers on the auto 3rd gens runners and 1st gen tacos without a aux trans cooler and/or upgrading the bell housing. But that's probably the only example I can muster. Aisin makes great products

A supercharged Toyota still only makes like 200hp lol

 

My point being it was known to break those transmissions unless they were modded.

True. Its weird though the 00-04 4.7 used the same transmission and it has about the same hp but more torque and worked fine. But I guess people with supercharged v6s have lead feet and people with v8s don't.

I love the grunt of a diesel, but it's still hard to overcome the $ per mile,,, not miles per gal, since diesel now seems to consistently be 20-25% more than gas.
